HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM PHONE CASE
In this tutorial we will show you how to use our design tool to create a unique personalized phone case. We recommend you first choose your preferred phone case for your device (you can do this here). But remember that you can always modify this while you are inside of our design tool. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Choose the case color
Before you start designing your case, you can choose what color and what type of case you want to purchase. You have the option of changing the phone case’s base color, which you will see on the sides of the case.
Step 2: Upload a picture
Upload your own photo, logo, or drawing into the editor or even choose one of our designs. If you upload a photo, make sure the quality is as high as possible for optimal results. We recommend that you use a large photo (up to 10MB) in one of the following formats PNG or JPEG. You can also easily upload photos from Facebook or Instagram.
Step 3: Pick a layout
Do you want to have a custom phone case with multiple pictures? You can do this by picking a layout that fits your needs. If you’re running out of inspiration, check out our “template” section. Here you can find original background designs with the option to upload your own photos.
Now you have more opportunities to make your own phone case.
Step 4: Text & Effects
A customizable phone case wouldn’t be complete without text, fine filters, and cool stickers. You can easily add any kind of text, change the font, the size, and the color. Here are some ideas for you: add your name, initials, or that meaningful date. To change your text, click on the text block in your design and edit it until you’re completely satisfied.
Play around with different filters and stickers to complete your order. You can always go back to your original design if you’re not convinced.
Step 5: Complete your design
You will have the opportunity to reposition, resize and rotate your image. If you’re on your phone, this can be done by using the tools located underneath the design preview, on desktop, find these tools on the side of your preview. Your image will be surrounded by a red outline; with which you can easily stretch or shrink your photo. Are you ready? Make sure that no important parts of your design are too close to the camera or edges of your case. Always maintain a 3mm margin so your photos don’t get cropped.
Step 6: Get your custom phone case!
